• Mentor for Brightside

  • I am a volunteer mentor for Brightside Online Mentoring, which supports students in Year 9 - 13 across the UK in making confident and informed decisions about their about their next steps, in relation to their interests by providing an insight into STEM careers.​

• STEM Ambassador & Climate Ambassador for STEM Learning

  • Through this I have been invited to give talks at secondary schools around London on the impacts of habitat destruction and climate change. I have also helped out at career Q&A events, in which I chatted to secondary school students about PhDs and my career path so far.

  • Helped to develop the plot of the SMASHfest 2020 event.

• Co-organiser Year 8 Sutton Scholars Biology Day, UCL (2018)

  • Helped to develop, and then run, the Sutton Scholars Biology Day for year 8 pupils at UCL.

• Guest speaker for Imperial College London’s MSc Conservation Science (2017, 2018).
